Job Overview
The AI Science team in the AI Security team in Intuit develops game-changing, innovative technologies that redefine and disrupt our current Security product offerings, helping Intuit protect its GenAI applications and infrastructure from the constantly-evolving threat landscape.
As a Senior AI scientist in the team, you’ll be prototyping,building and delivering algorithms based on multiple data sources, focusing on LLM prompts and agentic application calls, of 100+ million consumers and small businesses.
We are looking for team members that love new challenges, cracking tough problems, and working cross-functionally. You will be working end-to-end from ideation to implementation and have an opportunity to see your models make a significant impact on Intuit’s products’ and customers’ security.
Responsibilities
Develop ML models to identify security exploits, that based on a wide range of algorithms and techniques (classification, clustering, graph based)
Explore various data sources while leveraging your domain knowledge to craft creative features to boost model performance
Lead and innovate AI projects in the Security domain, lead discussions and understand the needs of the project from the business units and be able to integrate your domain knowledge into the algorithms you'll build and implement in production
Be an active partner of the full cycle of iterative big data exploration, including hypothesis formulation, algorithm development, data cleansing, testing, insight generation, and visualization

Qualifications
MSc or PhD in a computational or statistical field (Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Econometrics, Operations Research), or equivalent experience
3+ years’ Data Science experience, preferably with Fraud, Security or Credit Risk Detection solutions
Experience working on one of the cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure
Well versed in Data Science languages, tools and frameworks, including data processing platforms and distributed computing systems (for example Python, R, SQL, SKLearn, NumPy, Pandas, TensorFlow, Keras)
Security domain expertise — an advantage
Familiarity with LLM based applications, and REST or GraphQL APIs — an advantage
