Job Overview

Intuit's People Analytics, Research, and Technology (PART) team is seeking an experienced Senior Business System Analyst, Workday Absence & Time Tracking, with a proven track record in driving better time tracking insights and employee experience through the use and configuration of Workday tech solutions. The ideal candidate will have a detail-oriented mindset, excellent project management skills, and hands-on experience with system configuration, data analysis, and testing across Workday Core, Absence and Time Tracking modules. This role involves understanding of related end-to-end processes such as leave of absence, time off, time tracking and payroll. Responsibilities

  • Provide deep subject matter expertise within absence and time tracking technologies, with specific focus on Workday capabilities.

  • End-to-End configuration of Workday Core, leave of absence, time off and time tracking solutions independently.

  • Translate business process into Workday capabilities and work effectively with business stakeholders to co-design end-to-end solutions that effectively leverage tech and data capabilities to deliver outcomes and ensure delightful customer experiences.

  • Partner with Product Management to drive discussions to ensure the necessary data for design and requirement decisions is readily available.

  • Provide input into Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking and Payroll product roadmaps.

  • Develop proof of concepts (i.e., validate technical feasibility before full development), and prototypes (i.e, develop working models to explore functionality and business requirements) required to support new systems or processes, validate and share with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs and system requirements.

  • Ensure data integrity and data governance practices are established by developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for all absence and time tracking processes, business requirements, data dictionary, and system configurations.

  • Research, diagnose and resolve issues (e.g. end-user, business process, security, etc.)

  • Understand the end-to-end tech and data solution and collaborate across tech and data teams integrations with internal and external platforms.

  • Provide training and support to users and business stakeholders.

  • Lead creation of audit plans, schedules and testing of system upgrades and new configurations.

  • Use data to inform engagement, adoption, and success of technology projects.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in implementing and managing with Workday Absence and time tracking capabilities.

  • In-depth understanding of end-to-end impacts involving related processes such as benefits, leave of absence, time off, time tracking and payroll.

  • Workday Pro Certification(s), is preferred but not required.

  • Working experience with other HR systems and familiarity with Workday Extend.

  • Working knowledge of Workday security, reporting, and alerts configuration.

  • Experience in integrating with third-party vendors.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:

Bay Area California: $135,000 - $182,500

Southern California Area: $124,500 - $168,500
