Job Overview
Improve and introduce best practice procedures, standards and policies.
Review and implement changes on the network, following Change management process (ITIL)
Create troubleshooting procedure/documentation to help level1/level2 engineers to perform their job efficiently
Must have the ability to practice sound judgment in complex, high pressure situations
Rack, build, and configure network appliances at offices and datacenters.
Responsibilities
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for short periods of time.
Experience working with Cisco routers and LAN switches
Experience working with Cisco SDA architecture and Cisco DNA
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts for network operations, including predictive analytics and anomaly detection
Ability to work with AI-driven network automation tools (e.g., Cisco AI Assistant)
Implementation experience with SDWAN technologies such as Silverpeak
Experience with Aruba and Meraki wireless
Advanced experience implementing common routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
Deep understanding of network fundamentals (e.g. TCP/IP, Ethernet, IP Addressing/Subnetting, VLANs, etc).
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Very strong oral and written communication skills
Qualifications
Preferred: Cisco Certifications - CCNP and/or CCIE
Experience Integrating AI tools for monitoring and anomaly detection
Experience working with global teams
Experience with integrating networks from acquisitions
Knowledgeable with AWS Networking concepts
Scripting or automation (Python, Ansible, Netbox) highly desired
