We are looking for a hands-on Senior Technical Data Analyst who is a creative problem solver with a passion to support and enhance an advanced data toolkit for our analytics community. You will work with data engineers, technical program managers, business data analysts, product managers and architects to mature the data capabilities of Intuit’s Analytics ecosystem.

As a senior member of the Analytics Data Enablement team, you will have a strong track record of combining advanced analytics database design approaches with exceptional knowledge of functional areas to unlock potential for the business data analysts and product managers you support. You will be able to take ownership of complex workflows to translate data from clickstream and transactional data sources to maintain a complete data analytics ecosystem.

The ADE team exists to ensure that the Consumer group and Small Business and Self-Employed Group analytics ecosystem has the data, tools, capabilities and education it needs to deliver actionable insights and recommendations to our business partners.


Responsibilities

How you will lead

Communicate with business data analysts across the Customer Success Group organization to answer technical and functional questions and enable them to access and interpret the data we provide

Interview data consumers to understand requirements, develop functional specifications, and contribute on delivery of strategic data initiatives

Seek opportunities to improve the data pipeline and platform, and work with Data Engineers and Technical Program Managers to prioritize, develop, and test these improvements

Become the champion for the analyst community, represent analysts’ data needs across segments or product teams

Create data literacy plans (internal training for analysts, external materials and training for non-analysts)

Recognized as a subject matter expert across the analytics organization

Works on projects of high complexity

Interacts with Directors and Architects across Intuit

Has end-to-end responsibility for a project

Teaches best practices within the analytics organization

Coaches and mentors Technical Data Analysts within the analytics organization

Creates roadmaps that support business strategy

Translate complex business requirements into milestones and deliverables

Effectively leads multi-person teams using agile methodology


Qualifications

What you’ll bring

Technical

5+ years of experience working on ETL/data pipelines to support analytics use cases

Advanced SQL and data warehousing knowledge

Expertise working with big datasets and optimizing MPP Databases

Familiarity with AWS (Redshift, Athena, and AWS core concepts)

Design, build, and launch new data models and pipelines in production

Familiarity on various LLM models, GenAI and Agentic solutions that can automate workflows

Tableau/Qlik Sense Data Visualization (nice-to-have)

Clickstream data experience - Amplitude (nice-to-have)

Other Qualifications

Excellent problem-solving skills and end-to-end quantitative thinking

Outstanding communications skills with the ability to influence decision makers and build consensus with teams

Proactive and inquisitive learner who seeks out and capitalizes on opportunities for change that enhance the business, rather than reacting to circumstances

Strong organizational skills, time management, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlines

Experience working closely on cross-functional teams, including Data Engineering, Data Science, Software Engineering, and Product Management

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics or Related Field required, or equivalent experience; Master's Degree preferred.

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:

Bay Area California $ 143,500- 194,500

Southern California $ 143,000- 193,500
