Intuit Fintech, one of Intuit's fastest-growing business units, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to help shape the technology vision, strategy, and development for the Intuit Fintech Risk Platform. This role is crucial in building robust risk and compliance capabilities while leveraging cutting-edge technologies like GenAI to deliver intelligent applications. Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performing software solutions for the Fintech Risk Platform, utilizing React for the front-end and Java/Spring Boot for the back-end.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize features, and optimize risk and compliance capabilities.

  • Drive the development of AI-enhanced applications, leveraging GenAI concepts and frameworks to deliver transformative Fintech solutions.

  • Analyze, identify, and mitigate risks across the Fintech ecosystem by implementing robust compliance measures and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering collaboration and a culture of innovation within the team.

  • Utilize advanced statistical models, AI/ML techniques, and risk analytics to power decision-making and feature development within the risk platform.

  • Partner with product managers to understand analytics needs, define metrics, and implement executive dashboards to monitor platform performance.

  • Build data pipelines and models for risk data, ensuring automation, consistency, and scalability across Fintech systems.

  • Conduct A/B testing and experimentation, interpreting results to optimize platform efficiencies and drive informed decision-making.

  • Stay updated with developments in Fintech and AI technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (Master's degree preferred) or equivalent work experience.

  • 10+ years of professional experience in designing and developing software solutions, with expertise in both front-end technologies (React) and back-end frameworks (Java, Spring Boot).

  • Hands-on experience in GenAI concepts and frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, GPT-3/4, SageMaker, Bedrock) and the ability to integrate AI in practical applications.

  • Prior experience in risk and compliance domains within financial platforms is highly desirable.

  • Strong knowledge of Fintech concepts, including payment systems, risk analytics, and compliance strategies.

  • Advanced proficiency in cloud solutions, particularly AWS, and strong familiarity with modern CI/CD and DevOps practices.

  • Expertise in scripting languages like Python, SQL, and frameworks for data visualization tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with strong analytical abilities and data storytelling expertise.

  • Proven experience driving collaboration across engineering, product, and analytics teams to deliver impactful outcomes.

  • Highly motivated and results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with ambiguity.
