Job Overview
- Knowledge and/or experience in designing and implementing enterprise planning and prioritization across technologies that connect strategy and execution to drive outcomes for the business.
- Hands-on experience with Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platforms, particularly Oracle EPM Cloud, including Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS) and Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS); familiarity with Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS/EPBCS), Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS), Tax Reporting Cloud Service (TRCS), Profitability and Cost Management Cloud Service (PCMCS), and Narrative Reporting (EPRCS) is a strong plus.
- Identify and help solve systemic, organization-wide problems; build strong relationships and influence outcomes. Partner with Product Management and Engineering to define needs to support strategic planning and execution, as well as metrics, program requirements, and scope.
- As a cross-functional partner, contribute to technical discussions and act as a thought leader during product reviews; help design and execute process and strategy frameworks that facilitate product-related goal setting, decision making, and business impact.
- Articulate to stakeholders your team's technology requirements, goals, and milestones.
- Integrate your technical knowledge, subject-matter expertise, and understanding of trends to make sound decisions and inform business direction through data-driven analysis.
- Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery.
- Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases, including EPM close, consolidation, and reconciliation cycles.
- Perform risk and change management on projects.
- Help shape program/product direction and simplify complexity.
- Working knowledge of program management in areas of Finance Transformation and Strategy, particularly across domains such as Source to Pay (S2P), Record to Report (R2R), and related finance and EPM technologies.
- Ability to build business and value cases for strategic initiatives, including ERP and EPM Cloud upgrades and SaaS implementations.
- Understanding of integrations between Oracle EPM/ERP Cloud and third-party applications; familiarity with tools such as Coupa, BlackLine, Aravo, and similar systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to contribute to a successful product roadmap, help prioritize between features and architectural improvements, and support the operational rigor for building and improving the existing portfolio.
- Must be data and metrics driven with a “win together” mindset and track record of performance excellence, i.e., consistently delivering exceptional results, exceeding targets and objectives.
- Experience with Agile development and methodologies.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Partner with Finance, business, and engineering leaders across Intuit to identify areas across people, process, and technology to improve velocity.
- Analyze technology gaps and potential synergies between process and offering roadmaps (Contributor/Driver).
- Help prioritize technology solution requirements agreed with key stakeholders, including identification of associated trade-offs.
- Effective and persuasive presentations (verbal and written) appropriate for project teams and business leaders.
- Drive a data-driven approach to product management and use metrics to inform decision making.
- Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and feedback to continuously improve products and drive customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
As the Senior Staff Product Manager for Enterprise Finance and EPM, you will support a cross-functional effort to ideate and build the technology and ecosystem for enterprise planning, close/consolidation, and digital transformation. You will work to deeply understand customers and business processes, help prioritize customer needs, and contribute to a product roadmap that pushes the boundaries of digital process automation. Other key responsibilities include:
Contributing to the design and implementation of enterprise planning and prioritization technologies, including EPM capabilities such as ARCS and FCCS, that connect strategy and execution for significant business outcomes.
Helping identify systemic, organization-wide problems and building strong relationships to influence problem-solving.
Acting as a thought leader and contributor during product reviews, participating in technical discussions.
Supporting development of product-related goal setting, decision-making, and business impact frameworks.
Performing data-driven analysis to inform decisions and business direction.
Planning, managing, and executing end-to-end projects, ensuring timely delivery.
Conducting competitive analysis and staying abreast of industry trends and innovations across Finance and EPM technologies.
Helping build consensus around product roadmap priorities, balancing short-term vs. long-term customer outcomes across the team.
Engaging with and presenting to Senior Leadership Team (SLT) stakeholders.
Supporting product development lifecycles, including collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution and delivery of products.
Continuously evaluating product fit/gap, process optimization, technical dependencies and maturity, performing external benchmarking, and recommending options that meet the long-term vision.
Overall, you will help drive digital transformation within Enterprise Finance and EPM, leveraging your customer insight, natural curiosity, and business acumen to develop features and functionalities that solve complex problems and drive significant customer and employee delight.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of software industry experience, including systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management experience.
Direct experience working with EPM tools and processes, such as Oracle ARCS and FCCS, in a close, consolidation, or reconciliation context.
Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems.
Experience communicating and presenting work to senior leadership and framing discussions to gain valuable feedback.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Experience with Agile development and methodologies.
