Staff Product Manager, QuickBooks Growth

Category Product Management Location San Francisco, California Job ID 23506

Company Overview

Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.

Job Overview

  • Come help small businesses get to value faster. As a Staff PM on Product Growth, you'll own a core stage of the customer journey — turning new users into engaged, activated, and ultimately loyal QuickBooks customers — on one of our most important company bets.
  • You'll own the end-to-end experience for your domain: defining the problem, the metric, and the roadmap, then driving a cross-functional team to ship and learn fast. This is hands-on growth PM work for someone who lives in the data and iterates relentlessly.
  • Because growth priorities evolve as we learn, this role is intentionally broad. You may focus on top bets like scaling our freemium product or Mid-Market growth, with your exact charter shaped by team needs and your strengths.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product experience and roadmap for your stage of the customer lifecycle, tied to a clear success metric.
  • Deliver measurable improvements in activation, engagement, conversion, or retention through a steady cadence of experiments.
  • Use data, AI methodology, and domain expertise to solve complex problems and align your cross-functional team on the target outcome.
  • Run a high-velocity experimentation loop — from hypothesis to A/B test to learning — across the surfaces that matter for your stage.
  • Find opportunities to accelerate customer outcomes through AI, and use AI tools to raise your own and the team's velocity.
  • Partner across engineering, design, data science, and marketing — often winning priority on shared roadmaps — to deliver high-quality experiences.
  • Influence through data-driven storytelling and bring stakeholders along on your point of view.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with a focus on product-led growth, funnel optimization, or growth in a B2B or SaaS environment.
  • Track record of owning a product area or high-complexity feature set and driving measurable growth outcomes.
  • Strong experimentation and A/B testing skills, with fluency in behavioral data and funnel metrics; you dig into how customers actually use the product.
  • Working experience applying AI/ML — personalization, predictive engagement, or AI-accelerated workflows — in a product context.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; you anticipate dependencies and build shared understanding across teams.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and a fast-moving, iterative environment.
