Principal Product Marketing Manager, Release Go-to-Market Mid Market
Company Overview
Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.
Job Overview
Intuit’s Small Business and Self-Employed Group (SBSEG) is committed to creating solutions that power prosperity around the world, meeting the needs and improving the chances of success for businesses ranging from solopreneurs to larger mid-market organizations. We do this through an integrated ecosystem of solutions spanning accounting, payroll, payments, invoicing, time tracking, lending, and more.
As part of the U.S. Marketing organization, the Mid-Market Marketing team is seeking a Principal Product Marketing Manager to lead release go-to-market strategy for Intuit Enterprise Suite, an AI-native ERP built for modern CFOs and finance teams.
This role sits at the intersection of Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success and is responsible for ensuring our most important product innovations are translated into compelling customer value and brought to market effectively. You will partner closely with Product Management teams across the organization to understand roadmap priorities, influence strategic decisions through customer and market insights, and help determine how new capabilities are introduced to the market.
As the owner of our release GTM process, you will define how we evaluate, prioritize, position, launch, and drive adoption of product releases across the customer lifecycle. You will help establish and operationalize a scalable release framework spanning Pilot, Beta, and General Availability (GA), ensuring clear decision-making, stakeholder alignment, and launch readiness at every stage.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and customer-centric product marketer with deep experience bringing enterprise software solutions to market. You thrive in ambiguity, influence without authority, and are equally comfortable shaping long-term strategy and driving operational excellence. Most importantly, you know how to connect product innovation to meaningful customer outcomes and compelling market narratives.
Responsibilities
Release Strategy & Launch Governance
- Own the end-to-end release go-to-market strategy and execution for Intuit Enterprise Suite and related mid-market product innovations.
- Define and operationalize the release management framework across Pilot, Beta, and GA stages, including stage gates, readiness criteria, launch requirements, and stakeholder alignment.
- Establish release tiering and launch governance processes that determine the appropriate level of marketing investment, activation, communications, and enablement based on expected customer and business impact.
- Serve as the central orchestrator for release planning across Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Communications, and Enablement teams.
- Continuously improve release processes, launch effectiveness, and organizational readiness through measurement and post-launch learnings.
Product & Roadmap Partnership
- Partner closely with Product Management leaders across the organization to understand roadmap priorities, product strategy, and upcoming investments.
- Bring customer, competitive, and market insights into roadmap discussions to help influence prioritization and product direction.
- Ensure roadmap investments align with target ICP needs, customer pain points, and strategic business priorities.
- Act as a strategic advisor to Product teams on market positioning, launch readiness, adoption strategy, and customer value realization.
Positioning, Messaging & Customer Value
- Translate product capabilities into clear customer benefits, business outcomes, and differentiated value propositions.
- Partner with the Product Marketing team to define release narratives, messaging frameworks, and launch headlines that resonate with CFOs, finance leaders, controllers, and accounting professionals.
- Ensure product innovations are communicated through the lens of customer outcomes rather than features and functionality.
- Partner Product Marketing teams to maintain consistency across audience-specific messaging and go-to-market motions.
Go-to-Market Planning, Activation & Measurement
- Drive internal readiness and enablement to ensure customer-facing teams can confidently articulate product value and support adoption.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to identify adoption opportunities and customer feedback loops that inform future releases.
- Define success metrics and measurement frameworks for launches and release adoption.
- Analyze launch performance, customer engagement, and adoption trends to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Establish mechanisms to capture customer and field feedback and incorporate learnings into future roadmap and GTM planning.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of product marketing, product management, go-to-market, or related experience within B2B SaaS or enterprise software environments.
- Proven experience leading complex product launches, release programs, or cross-functional go-to-market initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and product teams.
- Experience partnering directly with Product Management teams to influence roadmap decisions and translate product investments into customer value and market impact.
- Exceptional storytelling, positioning, and narrative development skills. Ability to transform product enhancements and releases into compelling customer stories that communicate strategic value, business outcomes, and market differentiation—not just features and functionality.
- Strong strategic thinking and market perspective. Ability to connect individual releases to broader company strategy, product vision, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
- Demonstrated success shaping executive-level narratives and partnering with senior leaders to define how products and innovations are positioned in market.
- Outstanding organizational and program management skills, with the ability to coordinate complex initiatives across multiple teams, stakeholders, and timelines while maintaining attention to detail and driving accountability.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and influence skills. Proven ability to align stakeholders across Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Revenue Marketing, Customer Success, Enablement, and Communications to achieve shared business outcomes.
- Ability to drive organizational change through influence rather than authority, helping teams adopt new processes, frameworks, and ways of working.
- Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to facilitate discussions, drive decisions, and create clarity in complex situations.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using customer insights, market intelligence, and business data to inform strategy and decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience marketing ERP, accounting, finance, procurement, payments, or business management software.
- Experience serving mid-market and enterprise customers.
- Familiarity with launch governance, release management, or product lifecycle frameworks.
- Experience developing go-to-market strategies across Pilot, Beta, and General Availability (GA) product stages.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in highly ambiguous environments, bringing structure and clarity to emerging opportunities and undefined processes.
- Experience introducing innovative go-to-market motions for early-stage products, beta programs, or emerging capabilities where traditional launch models may not apply.
- Ability to balance customer demand, product readiness, and business objectives when bringing new capabilities to market.
- Understanding of the Office of the CFO, finance workflows, and accounting personas.
- Experience working within AI, platform, ecosystem, or multi-product solution environments.
Key Success Attributes
- Strategic storyteller who can connect roadmap investments into a cohesive market narrative that strengthens Intuit Enterprise Suite's position with finance leaders and decision-makers.
- Builder mindset with a passion for creating scalable processes, frameworks, and operating models where none exist today.
- Change agent who can create alignment across diverse stakeholder groups and drive adoption of new ways of working.
- Thrives in ambiguity and can help define the future state of release go-to-market, including how Pilot and Beta capabilities are incorporated into customer conversations, marketing programs, and sales motions.
- Highly organized operator who can manage multiple concurrent launches, priorities, and stakeholder groups without losing momentum or attention to detail.
- Customer-obsessed leader who consistently advocates for customer value and business outcomes in roadmap discussions, release planning, and market positioning.
