Major Duties
Customer Support Engineer
In this role you will be part of Global John Deere Forestry Product Support and Aftermarket organization. This position belongs to team of colleagues having similar roles in different product lines within forestry. Team is very self-driven and most of the daily duties are related to new product development and fulfilling customer and dealer needs with future equipment.
Main job responsibilities:
- Provide customer support engineering and planning function for WCTL product line on selected products and functional groups
- Coordinate and develop spare part catalog production process with John Deere ETEC unit, acts as link between Forestry Finland engineering, factory and ETEC
- Provide spare part related technical support service to dealers and to European Parts Customer Service organization for wheeled cut-to-length product line
- Create work instructions for periodic maintenance and for Protect Service Agreements
- Create parts solutions / bulletins for our channel partners
- Act as a Life Cycle Integration coordinator for wheeled cut-to-length product line
To be successful in with above duties, you need to:
- Have min 3 years work experience with heavy machinery, support, workshop or similar
- Be tech savvy and interested to adapt to new technologies
- Be fluent in English - written and spoken
- Be fluent with basic IT applications, e.g. Office 365
- Be fluent with Power BI
We also value if you have:
- Fluent Finnish skills - written and spoken
- Other language skills are a benefit
- Experience with IFS or SAP
- Work experience on spare part operations, dealer operations or field work
Required education: B.Sc or M.Sc in on/off road machinery, hydraulics or machine automation
Preferred location is Tampere, Finland but Joensuu, Finland is also an option.
Position is permanent and full-time and open both internally and externally. Starting date will be agreed separately. Salary will be agreed according to the position salary grade, taking into account your experience.
