This position is field-based and requires the applicant to be located in Western Australia with regular domestic travel.
The Opportunity
Showcase the value of our Large Tractor and Air Seeding portfolio, integrated Precision Ag Technology, and digital tools—delivering agronomic and economic benefits to dealers and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build dealer and team knowledge of products and tech.
- Plan and support impactful product demonstrations.
- Lead equipment demos to highlight customer value.
- Drive adoption of Precision Ag Technology.
- Support pre-sale product optimisation.
- Ensure dealers have strong demo plans aligned to value.
- Manage consignment equipment per policy.
- Identify and support sales opportunities.
- Represent John Deere at field days and trade shows.
- Join customer visits and ride-alongs to strengthen engagement.
Fully maintained tool-of-trade vehicle provided under Company Car Policy.
Who You Are
A driven self-starter with deep expertise in agricultural machinery, precision ag, and modern farming. You thrive in a team environment, communicate with impact, and take pride in delivering results.
What You Bring
- Strong communication and planning skills
- Ability to work independently and execute with precision
- Solid understanding of ag machinery, agronomy, and digital farming tools
- Marketing know-how and relationship-building skills
- Experience in wholesale/retail dynamics
- Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for market leadership
- Self-motivated and able to influence without authority
- Willingness to travel (up to 50%)
- Bonus: Seeding and Tractor Marketing experience
What Sets You Apart
- Passion for agriculture and sustainability
- Agronomic knowledge or hands-on experience
- Proven success in dealer sales support
- Experience launching sales and marketing initiatives
Your Background
You hold a degree or equivalent experience in:
Agricultural Sciences, Marketing, Engineering, or Technology
