Environmental Engineer (m/f/d)
The activities within the EHS department include the areas of emission control, water protection, waste management, and hazardous substances.

The salary for this position (full-time) is based on the ERA group 12 of the collective agreement of the metal and electrical industry Baden-Württemberg and consists, in addition to the gross monthly salary of 4.975 €, of various special payments (holiday pay, T-Zug, Christmas pay, etc.). You can expect an annual salary of approx. 68600.00 EUR in this position.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining a legally compliant and John Deere–standard operational organization
- Maintain the management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001
- Support the review, optimization, and implementation of environmentally relevant processes
- Prepare permit applications and notifications in accordance with the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG)
- Collaborate with various interfaces, such as production areas, planning departments, suppliers, consultants, and authorities
- Prepare environmental statistics and legally required reports
- Conduct training sessions on topics related to operational environmental protection
What Skills You Need:
- You have successfully completed a degree in natural sciences or engineering – ideally with a focus on chemical process engineering, environmental protection, chemistry, biology, or a comparable field of study
- Ideally, you bring professional experience in the environmental sector (EHS/HSE) and are familiar with relevant legal requirements and regulations
- You are flexible and work both independently and enjoy working in a team
- Good command of English (spoken and written) and solid PC skills (MS Office) are required
- In addition to technical qualifications, you possess a confident demeanor, commitment, a solution-oriented approach, and assertiveness
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork complete your profile
