Main Responsibilities

• Engage as a technical consultant on cloud and database technology solutions solving complex and high-risk business requirements;
• Develop, deploy, and maintain solutions to meet JDF's compliance needs and goals by partnering with appropriate resources across IT, Security, Governance, and Compliance;
• Maintain strong and collaborative working relationships with application delivery teams to build cloud and database knowledge and implement solutions in alignment with the JDF architecture strategy;
• Ensure reusability and efficiency in the design, build, and support processes for cloud and database hosted infrastructure;
• Optimize cloud and database costs to maximize the balance between needs and budgets;
• Apply and build upon best practices and standards for cloud and database hosted environments;
• Assist with monitoring and troubleshooting issues in cloud and database hosted solutions and drive towards problem resolution and prevention;
• Evaluate new technologies, products, and practices while continually innovating to keep up with industry standards, tools, and software development methodologies.

Skills You Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, and/or related fields;
• Experience analyzing and translating business requirements into technical solutions;
• Experience working with Amazon Web Services (compute, security, storage, etc.);
• Experience in database administration (PostgreSQL, DB2 for Z, or SQL Server preferred);
• Experience with DevOps principles and lean development,including Agile and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery;
• Experience with scripting/automation;
• Experience with AWS RDS instances and Infrastructure as Code;
• Understanding of applications development environment, database, data management, and infrastructure capabilities and constraints;
• Working examples of using infrastructure as code associated with database management;
• Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor teams and individuals;
• Strong analytic skills with high attention to detail and accuracy;
• Mastery level of tuning and writing SQL;
• Availability to work in a hybrid model, 3 times a week, in Indaiatuba/SP.

• Experience designing, building, and deploying cloud hosted solutions;
• Experience with software development, testing, deployment,lifecycle, and best practices;
• Experience administering and optimizing DB2 databases on z/OS or other mainframe platforms;
• Experience with technologies such as Jenkins, Github, Terraform/CloudFormation,Pipeline;
• Coding experience with Java, Node, Python, React, or JavaScript;
• Advanced experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD;
• Skilled across multiple database management systems;
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Database – Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, or equivalent;
• Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor teams and individuals;
• Experience architecting and implementing high-availability and disaster recovery solutions for mission-critical databases;
• Successful track record of database migrations (on-premises/cloud/cross-platform);
• Advanced performance tuning and optimization at scale.
