Duties

• Lead the migration from physical to virtual Infoblox appliances.
• Architect scalable and resilient IPAM/DNS/DHCP solutions.
• Cloud DNS Integration
• Integrate Akamai DNS services to enhance global DNS resolution and performance.
• Ensure high availability and redundancy across hybrid environments.
• Tier-3 Escalation & Governance:
• Act as Tier-3 escalation points for DNS/DHCP service requests.
• Review and approve changes ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.
• Proactively monitor DNS/DHCP infrastructure health and performance.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and provide root cause analysis.

Required

• Deep expertise in Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) platform.
• Strong experience with Akamai Edge DNS or similar cloud DNS providers.
• Proficiency in DNS protocols, DHCP configurations, and IPAM best practices.
• Scripting and automation skills using Python, Ansible, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, firewall rules).
• Experience with virtualization platforms (AHV Nutanix ).
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and change management.

Desired

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise DNS/DHCP/IPAM engineering.
• 3+ years of experience with Infoblox in a virtualized or cloud-integrated environment.
• 2+ years of experience integrating or managing Akamai DNS services.
• Proven track record of leading infrastructure transformation projects.
• Experience working in large-scale, global enterprise environments.
• Develop and implement automation scripts and workflows to streamline DNS/DHCP operations.
• Reduce manual intervention and improve turnaround time for service requests.

Education

• Bachelor’s or equivalent
