Your Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer for Intelligent Solutions Group located in Urbandale, IA you will be:
- Develop new autonomy features and capabilities for autonomous equipment from concept to production.
- Solve complex problems related to autonomous equipment software systems.
- Ensure software quality, fix defects, and implement continuous improvements to autonomous system software.

What Skills You Need
- Knowledge of production agricultural practices and machines
- Knowledge of C++ programming and understanding QT / standard libraries
- An advanced engineering degree in computer science or electrical engineering.
- Experience with agriculture or construction vehicles or similar industry.
- Experience with CAN and Ethernet networks.
What Makes You Standout
- Experience developing software in the Deere GenOS development environment.
- Experience working with guidance, documentation, or implement control related algorithms.
- Experience working with and troubleshooting vehicle electrical subsystems, communication networks and protocols.
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Agricultural, Electrical, Computer, Software Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
