Job Description:
We’re looking for a Service Delivery Lead (GOCC Data Office) to join our team at MBPS.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Coordinate with project managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align on data strategy and project timelines.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Implement data architecture to support warehousing, analytics, and reporting needs.
- Optimize data processes for performance, cost-effectiveness, and ensure data quality.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and drive enhancements in data engineering capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 3-5 years of data engineering experience, with a proven track record in leadership or mentoring roles.
- Proficient in Python, Java, or Scala and experienced with ETL tools and data pipelines (e.g., Apache Airflow, Spark).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Strong SQL skills, with experience in data modeling, integration, and management.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
