The Senior Business Support Analyst will be responsible in ensuring SimCorp Dimension (SCD) users have a stable, reliable and high performing AABOR. The successful candidate will be accountable in performing the team's daily operations and providing support to business users in addressing moderate to complex business issues.

    On the job you will:

    • Monitor and clear the SimCorp Dimension (SCD) message queue throughout the day to ensure all transactions are elevated to final status at end of day
    • Monitor the team shared mailbox throughout the day and taking appropriate action on the emails received
    • Generate Item of Interest (IOI) ad hoc security requests and monitoring that the security master setup occurs within an acceptable time frame
    • Investigate Transaction Hub (THUB) unknown queries and generate ad-hoc transactions to THUB as needed
    • Support ad-hoc analysis to identify root cause of production problems and develop timely solutions
    • Execute user acceptance test for implementation of new security types and functionalities and system upgrade
    • Execute and validate test cases for end-to-end processes
    • Support for period end close processes
    • Work in collaboration with the business users and Global Solutions Delivery (GSD) to create/update/maintain fund reports, chard of accounts reports, accounting posting rules reports, portfolio reports, free codes reports, user views reports, and/or segments reports.
    • Identify opportunities to leverage system capabilities in order to meet business requirements
    • Any other duties or projects assigned from time to time within or beyond working hours if needed

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any related business course
    • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Investment Operations and Fund Accounting
    • Experience working directly with business clients in addition to application support teams
    • Previous experience in investment operations in insurance or financial services
    • Ability to work well independently as well as with others as part of a team
    • Ability to grasp new concepts and information quickly
    • Eager to build strong relationships with internal departments and external partners
    • Excellent organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
    • Comfortable influencing without authority
    • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
    • Strong customer service orientation
    • Should possess a desire to learn new skills, adapt and take on new challenges
    • Candidate must be willing to report for a rotating schedule including night shift
    • Willing to work on a night shift; amenable to work in Lapu-Lapu City (Cebu)
