Ensure cashflows and transactions are reflected in AABOR in a timely and accurate manner. Efficient trade capture from different sources and booking derivative transactions into the accounting system. Work closely with onshore to ensure accurate data is booked in the system. Resolve reconciliation breaks by booking the discrepancy in the system after validation. Support Middle Office on the fund events on a regular basis.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Receive and process transactions instructions from MIM/GA teams, onshore and custodians.
  • Diligently work with Reconciliation team, Middle Office and other parties to resolve cash and position breaks.
  • Validate BBH cash and positions breaks to ensure propose adjustments are accurate.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of capital stock, trades, management fees and derivatives in AABOR.
  • Work within existing procedures and processes ensuring clear and concise documentation is created and maintained.
  • Remain updated with relevant securities industry development and market-specific best practices.
  • Provide support to the team as required, to participate in a regular program of industry specific training and interdepartmental cross training to ensure continuity of service.
  • Manage fund events which require updates in Informatica, seed capital and TIK/RIK processing.
  • Ensure timely and accurate booking of dividend distributions and reinvestments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or any related course, CPA board exam passer or CISI is an advantage
  • 2 to 4 years relevant work experience
  • Strong analytical ability, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge in securities instruments/settlements and investment process
  • Client focused with the ability to prioritize responsibilities
  • Influence and negotiate with team and clients in a sophisticated and demanding business environment
  • React quickly and meet tight deadlines maintaining accuracy and thoroughness
  • Demonstrate flexibility and initiative in working with management and clients, adapting change strategies.
