Position Responsibilities:

  • Managing all weekly and monthly load.

  • Downloading and managing all the index information, Asian Territories holdings, mortgages, reinsurance, derivatives, cash files, monthly FX rates, JH SIC codes and monoline exposures.

  • Daily compliance function for Security Lending (monitoring approved counterparty limits and collateral requirements). Compile monthly & quarterly General Fund Compliance reports.

  • Daily compliance function for Derivatives (monitoring approved counterparty limits, trader limits, derivative strategies and usage policy).

  • Prepare weekly General Fund Compliance reports, and ensure that the information reported is accurate.

  • Preparation of the Mortgage & Real estate monthly guideline reports for inclusion in key General Fund Compliance reports..

Technical Lead:

  • Additional responsibilities include:
    i) Being a Process Champion, identifying opportunities to streamline or automate business processes, collaborating with developers for automation, and supporting testing and project documentation across various initiatives

    ii)The role is accountable to the FRM Manila team in MBPS, primarily handling BAU and ad hoc reports for Financial Risk Management. Ensure the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of BAU and other requirements. Key aspects include monitoring and maintaining oversight, assisting in the design of controls to improve the risk management framework, enhancing documentation, and assessing optimal production processes related to the FRM Manila team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business/Finance.

  • CFA or currently enrolled in the program and/or relevant investment experience.

  • Knowledge of investment products, risk measurement techniques and controls, market practices and securities operations

  • Demonstrated knowledge of policies, procedures and compliance functions at a large financial institution.

  • Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to perform independent research and economic statistical analysis

  • Excellent PC skills (especially MSExcel and MSOffice) with the aptitude to learning new systems.

  • Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Team player with a desire for continuous learning

Asset:

  • Excel (VBA), PowerBI, and MS Access (SQL and VBA) experience.
