We are looking for someone with:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
At least 3-4 years in related project delivery practice and process improvement position.
PMP, Prince 2, Management of Portfolios (MoP), Agile qualification, and/or Six Sigma qualification
Application development and support (preferably PPM tools) and reporting development (Power BI) and analysis
Excellent understanding and experience across the end-to-end project and solution delivery lifecycles; covering both the traditional waterfall and Agile delivery approaches.
Project Management experience and experience across one or more of the following areas: business analysis, architecture, systems analysis, development, testing, infrastructure is essential.
Demonstrable leadership skills. Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
Performance driven, results oriented and customer focused. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
On the job you will:
Own and support the use and compliance of Portfolio & Project Management (PPM) tools.
Support and continuously improve the use of PPM across Asia (Planview) and support and further develop real time portfolio level reporting
Ensure the completeness and integrity of our project data and provide support to PMOs and end users.
Manage requests of system administration and configuration (inc. current or new features, upgrades) with the Manulife EPS teams.
Deliver reporting and analysis of portfolio information, ensuring data integration where needed and to support and deliver dashboards (Power BI) across the portfolio.
Configure the Planview system setup, financial model, resource structures and rate card, field and screens, etc.
Code (SQL) solutions in Planview that provides tile/report outputs (Report Builder) and dataset extracts (ODATA)
Monitor, control and reporting progress at the portfolio, program and project level.
Support the system to monitor project progress, financials and resource allocations, providing further transparency and supporting improved management decisions.
Report on the project health, status, risk & issues, resources and compliance across the portfolio.
Provide regular reports on portfolio health including time, cost, scope and benefits
Support the program and project governance and to comply with group and regional requirements on policy, DoA, risk and audit.
Ensure the execution an effective portfolio governance framework and business case approval process in conjunction with leadership on portfolio oversight & reporting.
Review business cases to ensure the inputs are of a consistent and high quality and are aligned Segment standards.
Provide line of sight for all functions (i.e. risk, compliance, architecture, data, marketing, finance, procurement) in project approvals and the portfolio pipeline.
Focus firmly on outcomes, building a framework to measure value, and improving accountability.
Improve project expense reporting including plan/actual/forecast across the portfolio
