The key responsibilities for this position are:

  • Conducts quality assurance testing on key high-risk AML/ATF program elements and FATCA-CRS across Asia and Investments business units.
  • Identify deviations from AMLATF and other Compliance policies and procedures
  • Ensure that controls set out in the AMLATF and other Compliance Programs are actually being executed as written on the policies and procedures
  • Ensure that AMLATF and other Compliance policies and procedures are updated per corporate and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure information recorded and control procedures set up are reasonable and being carried out in accordance with company standards
  • Preparation of detailed testing templates, questionnaires, gathering of information and data from the testing subjects for review and analytics, follow up questions and outstanding information, creating high quality working papers, drafting testing report
  • Help Manulife offices / territories in Asia to look for and carry out solutions to rectify findings and identified gaps
  • Document the review and testing results with Manulife record management standard. Upload and maintain testing plans, results and records to the Archer data base
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by the immediate superior and Asia Regional Compliance
