Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for driving technical and business projects across multiple customers; developing analysis to support process and project improvements
Manages and coordinates business and technical projects through al phases of initiation, development and implementation; tends to work on waterfall projects
Works with clients to define and manage the scope, strategy, requirements and implementation of projects
Ensures that assigned projects are completed within budgets and schedules while meeting client business objectives
Identifies, analyzes, mitigates, documents, and controls project risks
Provides effective and regular communication within the project team, customers, sponsors and management
Identifies resource needs for the project and establishes roles, expectations, and goals with the team members
Leads definition, documentation and completion of moderately complex, high impact projects; high interdependencies
Assess and manages risks that impede successful project delivery
Manages project resources to budget
Improves existing delivery methods and identifies potential areas for improvement
Communicates clearly to all customers involved
Has positive impact to specific organizational entities & understands nature of impact
Top contributor and often enables others to contribute as well
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Relevant certification (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP) is preferred.
Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in IT project management, with a solid track record of handling complex, large-scale projects within the financial services industry, preferably in wealth and asset management.
Strong understanding of wealth and asset management operations, technology trends, and regulatory requirements.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with customers at all levels.
Proven track record to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as familiarity with agile methodologies.

Salary range is expected to be between
$124,250.00 USD - $230,750.00 USDIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
