Senior Data Governance Analyst

Specializes in implementing and managing tools related to Master Data Management (MDM), Reference Data Management (RDM), Data Quality, and Data Catalogs to ensure effective data governance across the organization.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assesses, selects, and deploys data tools for MDM, RDM, data quality, and data catalog functionalities. Integrates diverse data sources into data platforms, configuring settings, and establishing governance frameworks within these tools.
- Develops and enforces governance policies, data quality standards, and stewardship processes within data tools to maintain data consistency and accuracy.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams and provide guidance on tool usage and data governance leading practices.
- Utilizes data tools to profile data, identify discrepancies, and execute cleansing procedures for enhanced data quality.
- Governs metadata within data catalogs to ensure accuracy and accessibility for users seeking information about available data resources. Troubleshoots issues within data tools and provides effective solutions.
- Configures, codes, and operationalizes tooling.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, policies, and leading practices
- Experience in integrating diverse data sources, data modeling, and ETL processes
- Ability to operationalize data tools
- Experience in data profiling, cleansing, and implementing data quality standards
- Ability to leverage data tools for data integration, storage, and analytics, ensuring seamless data governance
- Experience in utilizing data tools for MDM, data quality management, and data cataloging to maintain data governance protocols
- Ability to customize and configure tools to align with organizational data governance requirements
