Associate Platform Technical Analyst

This opportunity involves managing the migration and deployment of Informatica scripts, mappings, sessions, and workflows across different environments, such as development, test, and production. By taking ownership of high-severity issues and ensuring effective troubleshooting and resolution, this role directly contributes to maintaining the stability and integrity of our platform, which is crucial to our mission of delivering reliable and high-quality data solutions. Position Responsibilities:
- Migrate/Deploy Informatica scripts, mappings, sessions, and workflows across different environments and repositories (development, test, production).
- Answer and perform troubleshooting activities for high severity and priority issues
- Take ownership and be accountable for quality work.
- Proactive ownership of incidents/issues until resolution
- Follow documented procedures to fulfill responsibilities, and ensure the maintenance and integrity of ALL process documents
- Work with Team Lead to ensure all team metrics are up – to – date and adhered to
- Escalate service or documentation issues to the Platform Consultant
- Implement and follow best practices for platform support and troubleshooting.
- Participate in platform upgrades, including Informatica upgrades.
- Provide consultation on Platform details and capabilities for new development and application support teams.
- Provide on-call support as part of on-call rotation within the Platform Support team.
- Keeping abreast of new features and functionality and providing recommendations for process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 3 or more years’ specific hands-on experience in the administration of and/or release management of a technology platform.
- 3 years' experience with middleware, platforms capacity, performance management, etc.
- College/University graduate (Computer Science or related discipline is preferred) or with previous related work experience.
- ITIL Certification
- SysAdmin certifications (LPIC, MCSA, MCSE, RHCE, etc.)
- Shift Schedule (Rotating): Amenability to work on the assigned schedule (Morning: 6am-3pm, Mid: 3pm-12am, Night: 9pm-6am)
- Amenable to work on a hybrid set-up (3x a week onsite)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Development skills particularly Python and Java
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, including installation, configuration, and management.
- Experience in supporting or administering BI tools
- Informatica Experience with ServiceNow change management tool is an asset.
- Must not have any attendance issues and has not received any disciplinary actions
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core Windows services.
- Understanding of security best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus solutions.
