The Manager of Communications has a key role in ensuring the communications team and its initiatives to support employee engagement and leadership alignment. The role plays a key role in partnering with internal/external communications and social media, so that best practices are captured, alignment in planning and execution is achieved, and the operational rhythm of our global team is strong.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Individual Responsibilities (75%):

    • Develops and executes communications strategy based on clients’ intended audience and method of distribution
    • Must be equipped to recommend appropriate distribution method(s) based on budgetary and time constraints
    • Associate will act as a consultant to multiple groups within the team; includes leading meetings, preparing presentations of ideas, directing brand questions and executing research with vendors
    • Must have creative services expertise to engage and direct creative resources including partners in Manila as well as external vendors
    • Associate must manage expenses and prepare monthly accrual reports.
    • Participate in operational processes to facilitate marketing campaigns such as compliance review, material creation and quality improvement
    • Provide marketing support including email strategy, print collateral, creating and executing campaigns, and web
    • Track ROI as well as budget development, tracking, and management
    • Develop and deliver effective presentations to key stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years’ experience in a fast-paced marketing or in-house creative team
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Print or fulfillment experience highly favored
    • Financial industry background preferred
    • Demonstrated understanding of superior customer service
    • Skilled to collaborate and curate communications that satisfy strategic goals of the initiative and organization
    • A motivated self-starter with a high energy level and strong work ethic
    • Strong project management skills including the handling of confidential and/or PII
    • Adaptable and flexible with change
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • An understanding of branding and what it means to an organization
    • Savvy with technology and a deep curiosity about innovative technologies
    • Ability to act as a liaison and influence key stakeholders across business areas and functions, generating consensus while keeping the core business objectives in mind
    • Experienced in interacting with multiple stakeholders including Compliance, Operations, Risk and IT
    • Demonstrable ability to influence individuals in a dynamic and fast-moving organization

    Decision Authorities:

    • Directing communication and project timelines and content based on changing business needs
    • Changes require working directly with the business unit and project sponsors
    • Directing communications plans / approach based on significance of project, location, timeframe and audience
    • Directing brand application design/re-design based on internal / external audience
