Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis

As a key member of the Global FP&A team, you will be responsible for preparing material for senior management and the Board that helps them understand our current position, trajectory, and key areas that require attention. The role provides a near unparalleled opportunity to learn about the company's strategy and diverse businesses.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide thorough and timely analysis and insights of our key performance indicators, including trends, headwinds, tailwinds, opportunities, and risks
Co-ordinate the production of monthly and quarterly performance management reports for the Executive Leadership Team and quarterly reports for the Board of Directors which include financial and non-financial information, and progress on strategic initiatives
Assist with the creation and production of scorecards for the Executive leadership team, and scorecards for the Company’s bonus program
Support Finance projects to achieve our transformation goals. This includes execution on our KPI reporting project, continuous improvement of the systems and processes in place to ensure accountability and execution partnering with other teams (Technology, Finance, Strategy, etc.)
Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Business or a relevant field
Well-organized, high level of initiative and able to manage and prioritize several tasks with a high level of accuracy
Excellent collaboration skills as this will facilitate an effective and efficient working relationship with our partners in the businesses and functions
Superior analytical skills with a focus on providing value added insight and analysis
Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to take complex information and "package" it for management
Strong attention to detail as our partners include the Executive Leadership Team and Board
Excellent PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Essbase, Word)
Preferred Qualifications:
Attained or actively pursuing a CPA/CFA an asset
Experience with BI tools, Sharepoint and performance management tools/systems is an asset

Salary range is expected to be between
$61,350.00 CAD - $102,250.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
