Operations Risk Analyst

We are looking for an Operations Risk Analyst to join our new business at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to assist with initiatives or work that drive the controls improvement program across Asia, and collaborate with markets to identify gaps, understand existing processes, risks and controls.
Position Responsibilities:
Planning, organizing and implementing Operations L1B initiatives to improve risk & controls governance across the Asia segment.
Performing detailed analysis of current processes and controls against required improvements, including using data analytics to identify gaps/issues/trends that should be remediated to strengthen the governance of operations risk.
Evaluating findings, uncovering areas for improvements
Leading reviews of business processes and developing optimizing strategies.
Conducting meetings and workshops to present ideas, gather information, brainstorm and identify solutions.
Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional teams and management.
Documenting, communicating, and reporting of information received, actions taken, outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of operational risk management/audit/compliance, focusing on financial services (insurance, banking).
Must have previous experience in controls testing, and familiar with risk guidelines and engagements, and process automation.
Preferred Qualifications:
A good understanding of core insurance operational processes.
Experience in a regional role is advantageous.
