We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly analytical, and detail-oriented Risk and Data Analytics Manager to join our new business at MBPS . In this role, you will manage members to support Canada Operations in providing risk data analytics and insights, and in execution of the core components of its Operational Risk Management Framework.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain automated control testing End User Computing Solutions (EUCS), maintenance of reports in Power BI, Excel and other reporting tools, providing training and support to users on the team.

  • Oversee the resolution of platform and data errors, tracking usage, measuring key performance indicators (KPIs), handling ad-hoc reporting requests, creating effective written procedures and documentation as well as playing an active role in the analysis of data.

  • Implement Controls for existing EUCS in Canada Operations to ensure designed tools are compliant with the EUCS Standard

  • Lead and mentor direct reports in delivering Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) and risk and control initiatives in Canada Segment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, and/or any relevant field with Business Intelligence

  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in Data Analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong critical thinking, analytical skills, and ability to review patterns in large data sets.

  • Experience in business intelligence tools (Tableau, SAP Lumira, IBM Cognos), particularly Microsoft Power BI.

  • Experience with reporting / query tools (SQL, SSRS, Query, MS Access or similar).

  • Experience with Python.

  • Experience visualizing data in Excel, Power Point, and Power BI.

  • Experience in Risk and Control Self-assessment (RCSA) and other related Operational Risk tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to identify and articulate risk and impact to the business and challenge the status quo for the right reasons.

  • Ability to assimilate and interpret risk data to reach conclusions regarding the type and level of risk across the business.

  • Highly organized with an ability to work in a fast-paced, multi stakeholder environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Independently motivated to find new ways to address issues, confront barriers and seek out information for the benefit of the business.

  • Ability and confidence to ask pertinent questions and adjust thinking when new facts are found.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
