We’re looking for an Electronic File Eligibility Analyst to join our Insurance Operations team at MBPS. In this role, you are responsible for providing technical expertise, support, and customer service to clients and staff within Plan Sponsor Services to ensure the successful transmission and upload of demographic, eligibility, and contribution data files into Manulife

Position Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key liaison with respect to electronic client files; attend meetings to share information internally and with clients; gather, document and analyze client data to facilitate successful electronic data uploads.
  • Provide expertise on related systems and procedures, file specifications and manual updating.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and problem analysis in resolving client issues.
  • Manage caseloads within a team with the ability to organize and prioritize in order to ensure a high level of customer service at all times.
  • Liaise with the IS team on data/system issues and provide testing support.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  • Proven experience with MS Office, with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience in a technical role, preferably related to the review and/or manipulation of large data files.
  • Willingness to work night or morning shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills and experience.
  • Customer service experience with a high aptitude for relationship building, both internally and with clients.
  • Ability to multi-task concurrent/parallel activities and adapt to a continuously changing environment.
  • Internal candidates must have at least one year of tenure in their current position.
  • No attendance issues and must meet job expectations, passing all performance metrics in their current unit.
  • No disciplinary actions of any sort for the past 12 months.
