Chief Product Officer

Position Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market opportunities
- Lead and oversee Product Development, Product Marketing & Communication, Product Campaigns, and Product System Development to drive strategic growth
- Act as Product Owner for cross-functional squads involving Underwriting, Claims, Pricing, Legal, and other business units to deliver customer-centric solutions
- Drive innovation through the launch of Direct-to-Consumer products and Embedded Insurance initiatives in partnership with financial institutions and strategic partners
- Develop and manage persistency-driven product portfolios, including Limited-Pay and Single Premium offerings tailored to customer needs and market dynamics
- Ensure all products meet regulatory, legal, and compliance standards while maintaining commercial viability.
- Collaborate with Distribution, Marketing, and Technology teams to ensure successful go-to-market execution and product adoption
- Monitor product performance and customer feedback to continuously optimize offerings and enhance persistency and profitability
- Represent the product function in executive forums, industry events, and strategic partner engagements
- Build and lead a high-performing product team, fostering innovation, agility, and cross-functional collaboration
Required Qualifications:
- 8–10 years of senior experience in product strategy, development, and management within insurance or financial services
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
- Proven track record of launching innovative insurance products, including digital and embedded solutions
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with deep understanding of product profitability, customer persistency, and market dynamics
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional environments, with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, including business case development and delivery.
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities
- Experience mentoring and developing high-performing teams in agile and fast-paced settings
- Tech-savvy, with the ability to leverage digital tools, analytics platforms, and customer engagement technologies
- Thorough knowledge of insurance regulations, compliance standards, and risk management practices
- Entrepreneurial mindset with adaptability to lead in evolving and dynamic environments
- Strong collaboration and relationship management skills, both internally and with external partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Full ownership of resource management, including hiring, performance development, compensation decisions, and team structure
- Proven ability to lead product squads and prioritize enhancements based on strategic goals, customer retention, and risk mitigation
- Experience defining Minimum Viable Product (MVP) scope and managing iterative product delivery
