Software Engineering Director (Delivery Lead)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineering Director (Delivery Lead) to drive the design, development, and delivery of Adobe Experience Manager solutions. The ideal candidate will lead a team of highly skilled engineers, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance digital experiences.
Position Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:
Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of AEM-based solutions.
Provide guidance and mentorship to AEM developers, as well as front-end, back-end and other full stack engineers.
Define best practices and enforce coding standards.

Project Delivery:
Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Oversee development sprints, code reviews, and deployment processes.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality features and enhancements.

Platform Expertise:
Customize and extend AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations.
Optimize AEM performance, scalability, and security.
Preferably experience with AEM cloud environment, Cloud manager and other Adobe MarTech solutions.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Work closely with DevOps, QA, and infrastructure teams to support CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in web development, with 3+ years in AEM.
Strong proficiency in Java, JCR, Sling, OSGi, and Apache Felix.
Experience with front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React/Angular (preferred).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Hands-on experience with AEM 6.x, including Sites, Assets, and Forms.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven) and agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in AEM.
Experience with Adobe Marketing Cloud and Adobe Analytics.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
