Investment Operations Senior Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Analyst to join our Investment Operations team. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across cash, trade, and reconciliation processes, while also supporting projects and operational improvements. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to handle issues independently, and the initiative to collaborate with both internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight
Perform daily oversight of investment operations processes, including cash management, market trades, and reconciliation activities.
Ensure exceptions and issues are investigated, resolved, and escalated in a timely manner, with appropriate risk controls in place.
Provide transparency through reporting and documentation to support management decision-making.
Collaboration & Issue Management
Partner with internal teams, including front office, accounting, and technology, as well as external partners such as custodian banks and transfer agents.
Liaise with offshore offices to coordinate daily operations, ensure alignment, and resolve escalated issues.
Work cross-functionally to analyze recurring issues, identify root causes, and recommend control enhancements.
Projects & Initiatives
Participate in business initiatives, system improvements, and regulatory-driven projects to ensure smooth implementation and minimal disruption to BAU processes.
Find opportunities to streamline and automate operational processes; partner with technology teams to design and implement solutions that improve efficiency and reduce risk.
Contribute to process optimization and reporting improvements (e.g., data analytics, visualization tools).
Support the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials.
Knowledge Sharing & Team Support
Mentor and train junior colleagues or interns, ensuring effective knowledge transfer within the team.
Foster a collaborative and professional working environment, building strong relationships with colleagues across functions and geographies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, or Computer Science (or related field).
3–5 years of experience in investment operations, fund administration, or a related financial services role.
Strong understanding of cash management, FX, reconciliation, and trade settlement processes.
Proven ability to lead multiple deliverables independently, with high attention to detail and risk awareness.
Hands-on experience with process automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, VBA/Macro, or similar), with a proven track record to design, enhance, and maintain automated solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with global teams and establishing solid working relationships with both internal and external partners.
Capability to oversee numerous priorities within tight deadlines while ensuring accuracy and control.
Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools; experience with Power BI or other data analytics platforms preferred.
Problem-solving attitude with demonstrated initiative in identifying and implementing operational improvements.
Nice to Have:
Experience with ETFs, derivatives, or alternative investments.
Experience with Simcorp Dimension, BlackRock Aladdin, or other investment accounting systems.
Professional designation (CFA or equivalent) in progress or completed.

Salary range is expected to be between
