Senior IT Project Manager
Position Responsibilities:
Partner with the senior stakeholders (CIOs, BUSO, Infrastructure Head) in Manulife business units to formulate the roadmap to achieve the target define by the GIRM
Drive and orchestra multiple IT security workstream (technical hardening, privilege access management, SIEM, Multi-factor authentication, vulnerabilities management) by working with different Path to Green project managers, infrastructure team and application team
Facilitate meetings together with workstream project managers, security consultants and application team (for detail planning and execution)
Aggregate, align and prioritize initiatives and roadmap across IRM program and Manulife business priorities
Act as the subject matter expert in the IRM program team on Manulife IT application architecture, roadmap and organization
Identify, assess, escalate and resolve program risk and issues for Manulife
Ensure accurate, precise and consistent communication of the program status, issues and road map to all stakeholders (CIO, BUSOs, application lead, Infrastructure team, regional / global team)
Required Qualifications:
A solid understanding of risk, security, and compliance requirements and best practices
Good collaborative attitude, willingness to work and share knowledge/information with team members
Strong communication, influence and negotiation skills, prior experience with mentoring teams and working in a process driven environment
Proven success in IT project / service / program delivery in multinational companies.
Execution focused: Ability to drive projects through providing appropriate project framework, clarity on content and deliverables and effectively engaging and managing stakeholders.
Analysis, insight and problem solving: Ability to collect and collate high volumes of diverse information regarding KPI metric, security settings and risk without becoming overwhelmed. Ability to separate critical and urgent details for integration into planning.
Prior experience in implementing new KPI for IT services will be a big plus.
Prior experience in Insurance industries with regional exposure is a big plus
Strong knowledge in technical domain (server, database, middleware, application, network, security)
Experience with compliance and audit activities for enforcement of policies, standards and procedures is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Information Management / Computer Science, with at least 10 years work experience working in IT Industry (application development, Infrastructure Service delivery or IT Security project delivery).
Holder of Project Management Certificate (PMP / PRINCE / Agile) is required
