Business Systems Analyst

This role presents an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Global Operations and Marketing Technology by bridging business needs with technical execution! As a Business Systems Analyst, you'll play a meaningful role in capturing, managing, and translating requirements into actionable work that drives system improvements and digital transformation. You’ll collaborate closely with Technology and Digital teams to support AEM Cloud integrations and other enterprise platforms. This position offers exposure to global initiatives, hands-on involvement in product optimization, and the chance to influence user experience and operational efficiency across markets!
Position Responsibilities:
- Interpret and document technical requirements for Global Operations and Marketing Technology team, relating to common capabilities on the AEM Cloud platform
- Research and document issues involving workflow procedures and processes; analyze data and develop creative solutions
- Coordinate recommended technical process changes, enhancements and product implementations, including test plans to ensure successful implementation
- Collaborate with Engineering and Architecture teams to create detailed system maps, illustrating the flow of data, processes, and interactions within existing and proposed systems including AEM Cloud
- Translate business and user requirements into Epics, Features, and User Stories; facilitate the technical design sessions, backlog grooming, and planning sessions with the project implementation team
- Determine the acceptance testing framework and standards to assess completed projects
- Assist in translating user stories and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, and user acceptance testing
- Conduct review sessions to gain approval of requirements and manage changes through the application of standard control processes and tools
- Evaluate and recommend technological solutions that align with business needs and industry leading practices
- Facilitate communication between business collaborators and technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle
- Coordinate with development teams to ensure successful implementation of AEM system advancements and additional Marketing Technology tools, or innovative solutions
- Work with collaborators to collect and detail product needs and convert these needs into clear and doable technical user stories or product specifications
- Support Global Digital Marketing team to gather Technology requirements
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate insights, findings, and recommendations
- Communicate data analysis and product performance evaluations to customers and multi-functional teams
- Conduct regular evaluations to assess product performance against goals and benchmarks to identify areas of improvement and recommend strategies for optimization
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape
- Analyze the market data and customer feedback to identify market opportunities.
- Interprets and documents technical functional requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Solid grasp of Adobe Experience Manager (Sites, Assets, Workflows and other Marketing Applications) in a cloud-native environment
- In-depth understanding of business analysis principles and methodologies, and technological systems
- Good understanding of the group function including product offerings, and service and management structure
- Understanding of system design and analysis and user testing
- Experienced using analysis tools and techniques
- Ability to cultivate relationships with key partners representing a broad range of functions and levels
- Understanding relevant software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.
- Familiarity with enterprise-level systems and applications, especially AEM Cloud or similar cloud applications and its integration patterns

Salary range is expected to be between
$75,880.00 CAD - $140,920.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
