Global Middle Office Analyst

Position Responsibilities:
- Perform day to day operations for Trade Support, Trade Matching, Trade Settlement or Cash Management functions.
- Communicate, investigate and resolve trade and cash queries and issues raised by Front Office (Portfolio Managers/Traders) Brokers, Custodians, and Internal Investment teams.
- Actively manages risks related to trades and cash to avoid failed settlement.
- Perform periodic trade and cash reporting for Onshore counterparts
- Improve business processes and controls to mitigate operational risks.
- Effectively communicate significant production updates and challenges to Manager in a timely manner.
- Drive process improvements and collaborate with technology partners for data enhancements
- Provide assistance on projects – to meet Management requirements by doing research, identifying needs, and developing/implementing solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any related business course
- Minimum 4 years of related work experience in Trade Operations or Middle Office
- Intermediate to expert Excel skills
- Knowledge of securities instruments, operational processes, and trade life cycle
- Strong investment, markets, and trades knowledge

- Good analytical and diagnostic abilities; able to resolve issues with minimal guidance
- Attention to detail and accuracy in identifying breaks and mismatches
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong comprehension and confidence
- Proactive and able to thrive in a highly critical function
- Flexible in handling ambiguous situations and shifting demands
- Uses diplomacy and tact to resolve difficult situations; escalates serious issues appropriately
