3. Ensure Compliance and Risk Mitigation

  • Implement governance policies and standards, monitor adherence to regulatory and internal requirements, and proactively manage data-related risks.

  • Maintain audit readiness and ensure governance solutions meet compliance obligations across jurisdictions.

4. Coordinate Cross-Functional Stakeholders

  • Drive collaboration across business units, technology teams, and data stewards to embed governance practices and enable effective adoption of governance products.

  • Facilitate governance forums and working groups to align priorities and resolve issues.

5. Continuous Improvement and Innovation

  • Introduce automation, analytics, and emerging technologies—including GenAI enablement for governance workflows—to strengthen efficiency and resilience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 15+ years in data management or governance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing enterprise-scale programs.

  • Proven track record in delivering complex governance initiatives and managing governance products.

  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, data quality, and compliance standards.

  • Familiarity with governance tools (e.g. Informatica) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

  • Exposure to AI/GenAI-driven governance solutions is a plus.
