FP&A Operations Analyst

The FP&A Operations Analyst will support the Finance Processes and Modernization Delivery Team by performing operational BAU tasks related to financial planning and analysis. The role will focus on executing recurring processes, maintaining data integrity, and supporting the transformation of finance workflows using tools such as Anaplan, Power BI, Alteryx, and the Enterprise Data Lake. Analysts will also be encouraged to identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to FP&A transformation initiatives.
Position Responsibilities:
Execute routine BAU tasks in support of FP&A processes, including data preparation, reporting, and reconciliation using Anaplan, Power BI, Alteryx, and EDL.
Assist in loading and validating data for financial models and reports.
Support user acceptance testing and documentation of business requirements for process enhancements.
Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners (e.g., Anaplan CoE, Power BI CoE) to ensure accurate and timely completion of operational activities.
Maintain and update process documentation as procedures evolve.
Provide basic troubleshooting and production support for finance applications and models.
Identify and suggest opportunities to streamline and automate recurring tasks.
Participate in FP&A transformation projects as assigned, contributing to process improvement and technology adoption.
Demonstrate attention to detail and sound judgment in handling data and resolving issues.
Escalate complex issues appropriately and seek guidance when needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field (professional accounting designation is a plus but not required)
3 to 4 years of experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Alteryx, PowerBI, and Anaplan is preferred but not required.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and summarize findings.
Basic understanding of financial planning and analysis concepts.
Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business processes.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with supervision.
Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Customer-focused mindset and commitment to quality.
Flexibility to work overtime or shifts as needed to meet business requirements.
