The Data Scientist – GenAI Development is responsible for building, evaluating, and optimizing enterprise‑grade Generative AI solutions that accelerate digital transformation across the business. This role combines applied machine learning, LLM evaluation, and prompt engineering to deliver high‑quality copilots, RAG systems, and workflow automations tailored to local business needs.


The position leads the design of training datasets, retrieval pipelines, grounding strategies, and evaluation frameworks to ensure AI outputs are accurate, safe, and contextually aligned with Vietnamese language and operational nuances. Working closely with cross‑functional teams—Sales, HR, Operations, and Finance—the Data Scientist enables rapid prototyping, continuous iteration, and measurable in‑year value.


A key accountability is maintaining model quality and trust through robust testing, guardrails, governance, and performance monitoring. The role also contributes to building internal AI capability by developing reusable tools, documentation, and best practices.


This position is critical for enabling parallel GenAI workstreams, reducing delivery bottlenecks, and ensuring sustainable, in‑house expertise that protects institutional knowledge and supports long‑term AI scaling.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and engineer large, complex datasets by collaborating with Data Engineering and IT SMEs to enable scalable Generative AI and ML development across global markets.

  • Design, build, and deploy end‑to‑end AI solutions—including ML models, LLMs, RAG pipelines, multi-agent systems, and multimodal workflows—to solve operational and customer-facing business challenges.

  • Translate business requirements into technical architectures by working closely with partners across Contact Centers, Underwriting, Claims, Sales, Product, and Operations.

  • Establish and promote best practices in AI development, evaluation, LLMOps, governance, safety, and tooling to uplift the broader data science and engineering community.

  • Continuously research, experiment, and innovate using emerging AI/ML techniques and diverse structured/unstructured data sources to enhance product capabilities and accelerate enterprise adoption.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in AI / ML or Data Science

  • Minimum of 1 year of Gen AI development experience with in the 4-6 Years of Data Science . ML or AI experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering , Information Technology , Artificial Intelligence or related domains such as Electrical Engineering , Physics etc.. Masters or PhD in Computer Science , AI or related is preferred .

  • At least one of the following : Databricks Certified Generative Engineering Associate , Databricks Certified ML Associate / Professional , Microsoft Generative AI Engineering Professional Certificate ,Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate , Nvidia Generative AI LLMs Certified Associate , GenAI Ops: Running Powerful Generative AI Systems Professional Certificate,

    IBM Generative AI Engineering Professional Certificate etc..

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree or PhD in Computer Science , Computer Engineering , Physics , Electrical Engineering

  • 3 + years Experience in AI

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Gen AI solutions

  • Databricks Certified Generative Engineering Associate or Microsoft Generative AI Engineering Professional Certificate
