HR Operations Analyst

We’re looking for an HR Operations Analyst to join our Human Resources team at MBPS. In this role, you will be responsible for processing end-to-end payroll operations, employee exit processes, Workday administration, tax and NSSF processing, HR Operations reporting, and audit support.
Position Responsibilities:
End-to-end payroll processing for assigned geographies.
Manage the completion of periodic payroll and other ad-hoc reports, as well as the preparation of year-end processes.
Process statutory requirements for NSSF, taxation, and audits, both internal and external within Manulife.
Ensure payroll processes comply with all regulatory reporting requirements, guidelines, internal policies, and internal controls.
Maintain knowledge of existing and new legislation affecting HR Operations, specifically related to payroll calculations, and ensure adherence to requirements while advising management on necessary actions.
Review processes and inform the manager of any recommended changes to implement best-practice operations.
Required Qualification:
2–3 years of related experience.
Knowledgeable in applicable tax, statutory, and labor regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Macros, PowerPoint, etc.), with working knowledge of Workday and other HR systems.
Fast learner, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively within and across HR functions.
Demonstrated ability to drive process excellence and continuous improvement.
Demonstrated ability to understand and drive transformational change.
Demonstrated understanding of labor, statutory, and tax regulations affecting payroll and benefits practices.
Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders to influence results across HR functions.
Experience in customer service management, HR risk, and compliance.
Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with excellent communication abilities.
