As a Senior Business Analyst / Business Analysis Consultant at Manulife, you will help drive operational excellence and deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions that improve producer and customer experiences. This role contributes to Manulife’s mission of making decisions simpler and lives better by identifying opportunities, improving processes, and supporting technology-enabled transformation across the business. Working in an agile environment, you will partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements, support system enhancements, and contribute to new product implementations. Position Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver customer-centric solutions that improve end-to-end purchase experiences.

  • Apply agile principles to manage requirements, prioritize work, and adapt to evolving business needs.

  • Investigate operational challenges, analyze complex processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend data-driven improvements.

  • Develop clear and actionable business requirements and user stories for system enhancements and new product implementations.

  • Collaborate with technology teams to integrate AI-driven tools that optimize processes, workflows, and decision-making.

  • Coordinate testing and implementation plans to support successful delivery of enhancements.

  • Act as a mentor and technical expert, guiding junior team members and promoting best practices.

  • Share knowledge and foster collaboration across business units to support consistency, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • 5–7 years of progressive business analysis experience.

  • Strong understanding of financial services operations and customer experience principles.

  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Kanban.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.

  • Ability to influence and negotiate to meet project objectives in a dynamic environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work independently or collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in business process improvement.

  • Familiar with intelligent document processing and Power Bi.

  • Experience contributing to new technology, system enhancement, or process transformation initiatives.

  • Ability to understand the broader organizational impact of process changes and align recommendations to long-term goals.

  • Demonstrated adaptability across diverse processes, departments, and business priorities.

  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and motivate teams toward process improvement initiatives and measurable results.

  • Experience collaborating with internal and external partners to achieve strategic goals.

Salary range is expected to be between

$73,350.00 USD - $122,250.00 USD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
