We are recruiting a one-year full time Research Data Analyst to support research projects in molecular epidemiology related to aging and infectious diseases. The position will be end on June 30, 2026, with the possibility to renew depending on funding availability.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing data cleaning and quality assurance procedures to ensure the validity and reliability of study results.
  • Conducting longitudinal data analyses using cohort samples.
  • Synthesizing and analyzing genetics, epigenetics, and other multi-omics data.
  • Performing data analysis and interpretation, applying knowledge of statistical and quantitative methods, and presenting research findings.
  • Generating reports, charts, tables, and creating research presentations.
  • Contributing to the writing of sections for manuscripts and publications, as needed.
  • Presenting research data at internal or external meetings, as appropriate.

Additional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proficiency in one or more statistical software programs (e.g., R, STATA) is required.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
  • Three years related experience.


Preferred Qualifications
  • MS graduate or PhD in progress in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Computational Biology, or a related field.
  • Experience with longitudinal data analysis.
  • Familiarity with the Johns Hopkins High-Performance Computing Environment (JHPCE).
