The Lions Vision Research and Rehabilitation Center is inviting applications for the position of IT Specialist (AR/VR) Intern starting Summer of 2025 to support its sponsored research activities.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- The IT Specialist’s primary responsibility is the design and development of AR/VR-based software solutions for head-mounted displays using the Unity game engine.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or graduation equivalent.
- Work experience in a professional environment including experience obtained through an internship or fellowship program is required.
- Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond HS diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of experience with Unity game engine
- UI/UX design
- Eye tracking research
- 3D scanning

Role/Level/Range: ATO 37.5/02/OF
Starting Salary Range: $21.25 - $36.90 HRLY ($30,160 targeted; Commensurate w/exp.)
Employee group: Casual / On Call
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
