Job Description
As a Senior Product Associate in the Payments & Global Banking Product Catalog team, you play a crucial role in innovating new product offerings and supporting the end-to-end product life cycle. You act as a key contributor, leveraging user research and customer feedback to develop products that provide customer value. With your experience in UI/UX, you ensure that the user interface is intuitive and enhances the overall user experience. Utilizing your understanding of product development, you assist in the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations. You will contribute to the authoritative source for product data including general product definition data, regional availability information, eligibility and suitability rules, and configurable attributes required to implement Payments products. You will partner closely across Client Onboarding & Servicing, Operations, Technology, business transformation leadership, product owners, and technology to identify inefficiencies in our product ecosystem, design product solutions necessary to integrate systems, and deliver next-gen technology for provisioning B2B financial products.
Job responsibilities:
- Partner with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery.
- Support the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers.
- Write the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development.
- Facilitate discovery meetings to gain insights into business processes, technology, integrations, and business objectives.
- Rationalize data requirements across various stakeholders and applications, identifying and resolving any data gaps.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, including discovery and requirements definition.
- Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate business and technical concepts to expert and novice audiences.
- Experience in agile methodologies and a basic understanding of JIRA.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., BIS, MIS, Computer Science).
- Proven experience in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
- Skilled in documenting user journeys and creating wireframes.
- Developing knowledge of reporting dashboards tools like Tableau, Qlikview, and Alteryx.
- Understanding of Large Language Models (LLM) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies a plus
