Job summary:
JPM in India provides services to the very top tier asset gatherers and asset managers globally and is one of the largest sub-custodians in the market.
As an India Product Vice President in the Direct Custody & Clearing team, you will have the responsibility to ensure that the service delivered is exceptional, keeping pace with client expectations, market regulations, JPM policies and ensuring competitive and disciplined product offering.
Job responsibilities:
- Ensuring seamless product delivery to clients and identify opportunities to improve product offering
- Managing changes in procedures and product offering necessitated by regulatory / market developments
- Actively contribute to advocacy efforts towards enhancement of market infrastructure and regulatory framework
- Assist clients to understand local market specific nuances and developments
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Master’s Degree Preferred – MBA, CA or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of banking / financial services experience preferably related to capital markets
- Sound understanding of regulatory framework applicable to foreign investments in India
- Clear thinking, proactive mindset, and leads with fresh perspective
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders across levels, including with regulators and FMIs
- Strong team player and consensus builder
