Job Description
Join us as Vice President to lead a transformative enterprise-class platform at J.P. Morgan Chase, revolutionizing investment governance. Our products enhance Global Technology's planning, execution, and financial processes, collaborating with stakeholders to develop efficient solutions. You'll promote integration of tools and business intelligence for strategic planning, automate processes for reliability, and create dashboards for executive insights. This role demands strategic thinking, technical expertise, and leadership to align finance and business management across the organization.
- Combine technical and functional expertise in business processes, finance, and F&BM functions to drive better product design, engineering solutions, analytics and reporting developments.
- Lead tools and business intelligence stacks for consistent service integration.
- Design and build data enrichment functionality for analytical data marts.
- Build visual dashboards and reporting for senior executives using BI tools.
- Coordinate business management and financial portfolio planning activities.
- Define business processes for technology book of work and financial plan establishment.
- Deliver effective data-driven dashboards and reports using MS SQL Server, Qlikview, ETLs, and Business Objects.
- Train and mentor new hires and junior resources on tools and data platforms.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 2 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience.
- Experience with data modeling, architecture, and database development (SQL).
- ETL development experience and business intelligence expertise.
- Knowledge of financial analysis and finance/business management functions.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate across organizations.
- Experience in managing large-scale programs and initiatives.
- Strong analytical abilities, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Finance & Business Management budgeting processes.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Strong understanding of myIG tool set preferred
- Experience in Alteryx preferred
