As a Client Data Manager II in Currency Transaction Reporting, you are responsible for overseeing and managing the Currency Transactions reporting team within the organization. This role involves supervising two team leads and two business analysts to ensure efficient and accurate processing of currency transactions. The Currency Transaction Manager will play a key role in developing strategies to optimize the reporting of currency transactions, mitigate risks, and enhance the overall performance of the Currency Transaction team. Your role will also involve influencing and strategizing with key stakeholders, assist in developing and implementing Controls, and acting as a subject matter expert.

Job responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage a team of four. Providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members to foster professional growth and development
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize currency transaction processes and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor market trends and currency fluctuations to make informed decisions
  • Identify, mitigate and implement risk management strategies associated with currency transactions to safeguard the organization’s financial interests.
  • Ensure adherence to risk management policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure seamless currency transaction operations
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, to provide updates and insights on currency transaction activities.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages open communication and knowledge sharing
  • Prepare and present reports on currency transaction activities, performance metrics, and market analysis.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in currency transaction management.
  • Drive continuous improvement and implement innovative initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of currency operations, address challenges and optimize processes

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Proven experience in currency transaction management or a related financial role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of currency markets, regulations, and risk management practices.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi task numerous initiatives simultaneously
  • Competency in Windows Operating Systems and MS Office tools (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Control and Process Management along with Risk mitigation experience
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize Chase business systems to produce audit information
