Job Description

Join our team as a KYC Quality Control - Client Data Associate, where you'll be responsible for performing comprehensive quality reviews of KYC profiles to ensure compliance with corporate and local regulatory standards. In this fast-paced and flexible operational environment, you'll evaluate complex KYC/AML documents and promote excellence, diversity, and quality.
As a KYC Quality Control - Client Data Associate, within KYC Quality Control Team, you will perform end-to-end quality reviews of KYC profiles to ensure accuracy, completeness, and validity. You will maintain a globally agreed quality pass rate and manage your workload to ensure timely escalation of key risks. Build strong partnerships with stakeholders and assist with change management for KYC policy integration.

Job responsibilities:

  • Perform quality reviews of KYC profiles, ensuring adherence to JP Morgan standards and global regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a globally agreed quality pass rate for records sampled by the Quality Assurance Team.
  • Manage personal workload and ensure timely escalation of key risks/issues to management.
  • Stay informed of changes to processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders and maintain relationships across the firm.
  • Assist with change management for KYC policy integration and training material updates.
  • Collaborate with management on training plans, process improvements, and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide responses to Audit and Regulator reviews as required by the Controls Team.
  • Partner with management to ensure KPIs align with business requirements and monitor metrics.
  • Identify and execute process improvements and provide SME support on key initiatives.
  • Support management with tasks such as prioritization, escalations, workflow management, and team oversight.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience in the Financial Industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in KYC/AML/Compliance/Audit/Regulation/Risk & Controls.
  • Quality Control experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence others.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills, detail-oriented with the ability to deep-dive into issues.
  • Ability to analyze large sets of data.
  • Strong time management skills, self-directing, and capable of handling high-pressure tasks.
  • Quality-focused work ethic with a strong controls mindset.
  • Flexibility to operate in a changeable environment.
  • Proactive and accountable.
