Job Description

Chase Connected Commerce department serves customers with digital experiences beyond our core financial products by focusing on customer experiences in Travel, Loyalty, Offers, and Partner Benefits, leveraging the best-in-class Chase payments and lending products. The Partner Travel Product team, part of the product organization under Chase Travel, focuses on growing the 3rd party client travel business and enhancing the entire travel experience for our clients’ customers.

As the Product Manager in Chase Travel you will drive the Partner Travel product strategy by leveraging your expertise in travel, product management, and agile methodologies within one of the world’s leading financial organizations. You will engage with team(s) (comprised of software engineering, infrastructure development, architecture, servicing) to advance the product’s vision and strategy to satisfy customer need. You will leverage industry insights, data and analytics and business needs to develop and manage a “roadmap” of initiatives over time while ensuring appropriate utilization of core platform products.

Job Responsibilities

  • Owns and manages the delivery of product roadmap for specified area of focus, across web and mobile
  • Serves as the subject matter expert for product domain – evaluate and document requirements from internal and partner development teams, scope technical solutions, identify risks, and clearly communicate goals and milestones to business stakeholders globally
  • Utilizes Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence to manage and track projects
  • Develops requirements, epics, and user stories to support Partner product initiatives
  • Analyzes and evaluates product metrics to ensure alignment with time, cost, and quality targets
  • Conducts user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic roadmap
  • Effectively communicates the impact of Partner Travel initiatives to the overall business senior stakeholders
  • Drives senior level strategy discussions at all levels in determining the product roadmap
  • Manages product reviews, strategy sessions with leadership, performance assessments, and data-based decision-making to manage the evolution of the roadmap
  • Partners with internal and external teams (client, product, design, technology, analytics, risk, legal, compliance, ops, servicing, marketing, …) on prioritization and development of product features

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • A minimum of 7+ years in Product management role building large scale enterprise product/systems or products at scale in a Product, or Travel related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of people leadership experience.
  • Experience moving technical products from inception to delivery and an ability to articulate the impact
  • Ability to manage tight delivery timelines and exhibit calmness under intense pressure, Comfortable navigating through ambiguity and change
  • Be a strategic thinker that demonstrates strong interpersonal and influencing skills to manage partnerships across all levels of the organization, including teams located in different locales
  • Proven end-to-end problem-solving skills with the ability to solve large, complex business problems, obtain consensus and enhance organizational transformation
  • Data-focused decision making and quantitative analysis skills, Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with business and technology stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Candidate from a Travel or Financial Services background preferred
  • Certifications in Agile methodologies would be an advantage
  • Prior experience working in a product organization, driving collaboration, and delivering customer-centric solutions
