Job Description
As a Product Associate in Global Technical Security, you play a crucial role in supporting the product development process and contributing to the discovery of innovative solutions that address customer needs. Working closely with the product management team and cross-functional partners, you contribute your skills and insights to help ensure the success of our product offerings. Global Security (GS) protects the firm's employees and assets throughout the world. This responsibility includes the development of security and safety policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative compliance, security operations on a global basis to include ATM, branch and corporate building security and customer safety, executive protection, pre-employment screening, fraud investigations and Technical Security. This mission is executed through the implementation of technology, best-in-class talent, and client collaboration.
- Supports the development of our product strategy and roadmap
- Collects and analyzes metrics on product performance to inform decision-making
- Contributes to solution discovery through collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify potential solutions that address user needs and align with business goals
- Participates in product planning sessions, contributes ideas and insights, and assists in the execution of product initiatives, ensuring timely and successful product launches
- Collaborates with the product manager to engage stakeholders and define user workflows, requirements, stories, and customer value
- Collaborate with internal Technology teams and Product Owners to design, develop, manage, configure, and maintain diverse security testing platforms and environments
- Assist in managing multi-million dollar projects to delivery in support of major Technical Security initiatives across the firm; to include tracking key dates and progress, and assisting in the preparation and completion of PowerPoint presentations for senior leaders
- Support the Product Owners with compliance and audit tasks such as maintaining KPIs and providing supporting evidence of control completion
- Work with internal training partners to guide updates to job aides and operating procedures, collect and analyze metrics, and prepare technical documentation
- Deliver and articulate intelligent presentations and demonstrations to senior leaders
- 2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management, project management, or a relevant domain area
- Developing knowledge level of the product development life cycle
- Exposure to product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
- Emerging knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, with professional presentation skills
- The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members, internal stakeholders across multiple Lines of Business, and external vendors
- The aptitude to multi-task and learn new software, hardware, and processes quickly and simultaneously; a willingness to progress; a high standard of integrity and dependability working autonomously in ambiguous high-pressure environments
- Self-starter who is able to work with general direction and will follow up with questions
- Sound decision-making to critically think through a problem and the intellectual curiosity to pursue the solution
- Knowledge of physical security technology systems (Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection), and basic IT networking and infrastructure design
- Experience implementing physical, technical, and administrative controls
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technology-related field
- Relevant experience in information security or technology controls
- Knowledge of SQL, SQL scripting, or related coding formats
- Basic knowledge of agile methodologies of software development
