Job Summary:
As a Vice President of Product Delivery within Wealth Management, you will lead the development and execution of innovative solutions that align with our strategic business objectives and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Financial Advisors, Operations, Technology, and Compliance teams to ensure seamless delivery of high-impact projects. In this role, you will drive research and analysis to inform decision-making, proactively identify and mitigate risks, and mentor junior team members. Your leadership will foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, advancing our mission and delivering exceptional value to clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of wealth management solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, track milestones, and ensure all deliverables are met within specified deadlines.
- Proactively identify potential risks and develop robust mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis to support product development and enhancements, providing actionable insights for strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with the compliance team to review solution features and documentation, ensuring products meet regulatory requirements and governance standards.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Financial Advisors, Operations, Technology, and Compliance officers to facilitate seamless project execution.
- Utilize research insights to empower the team to make informed, data-driven decisions and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, risk assessments, and post-project evaluations.
- Gather and analyze feedback from clients and advisors to continuously improve products and services.
- Resolve product-related issues and improve operational processes through critical thinking and innovative solutions.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Minimum ten years of experience in wealth management, financial services, or a related industry.
- Proven track record in senior leadership roles, with extensive experience in project management and product development.
- Advanced project management capabilities, including proficiency in coordinating timelines, tracking progress, and ensuring deliverables are met.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to align projects with business objectives and long-term goals.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Expertise in risk assessment and management within financial services or wealth management.
- High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in all aspects of product delivery.
- Strong research and analytical skills to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decisions.
- Excellent collaboration skills and strong interpersonal skills to facilitate seamless execution of projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve product-related issues and improve operational processes.
- Proficiency in using project management tools and software (e.g., myPM, MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
