As a Product Manager in Customer Application Experience, you play a pivotal role in driving innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. You leverage your expertise to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation. Your contributions inspire cross-functional teams to create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.


Job responsibilities

  • Partner with the line of business and your product quad (architecture/tech/design) to identify new product opportunities that reflect customer and market needs through data analytics and discovery.
  • Plan for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience.
  • Support the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insights on valuable product features.
  • Analyze, track, and evaluate product metrics, ensuring alignment with time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle.
  • Write requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development and maintain Jira hygiene. Create data mapping to understand the impact of values and ensure key information is included in service data transfer and key documents.
  • Assist with onboarding new services. Define acceptance test criteria in JIRA and create automated tests using BDD or TDD approaches, including test data for execution.
  • Create diagrams such as Class, Sequence, and Flow/Activity Diagrams using Confluence, VISIO, or similar tools. Be an AI Enthusiast, seeking ways to incorporate AI within the orchestration of the Credit Card opening process.
  • Own the product backlog for core features and components, driving feature enhancements and modernization work from inception to production.
  • Manage key relationships with engineering, architecture, analytics, automation teams, and diverse product teams to understand their needs and program goals.
  • Communicate effectively and frequently, sharing the product vision and articulating questions and answers needed to build the right features.
  • Be a center for knowledge, with deep curiosity about the digital experience space and a desire to connect that curiosity and knowledge to teams that can effect change.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience as a technical product manager with a strong background in with experience managing technical platforms and/or data-focused capabilities. Individual with good understanding of technologies including Automation test suite (Gherkin, Saucelabs, Mock tools), UI, API, Microservices, Kafka, AWS, etc.
  • A customer obsessed individual with the ability to build and maintain strong, productive relationships with engineers and technical partners, and an ability to translate customer needs into clear business requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams through discovery, requirements gathering, and backlog creation.
  • Ability to translate disparate insights and data sources into clear, measurable, scalable features and deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change through influence and collaboration across a matrix organization in a highly dynamic environment. Strong partnership, consulting, and influence skills.
  • Experience using Agile and JIRA toolkit for product delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to convey technically complex ideas in business language
  • Experience of working with JIRA, Swagger and API designing and documentation. SOAP, XML, JSON and other similar web services protocols/technologies

  • Experience working with teams located globally having a high degree of initiative and autonomy but must be able to function successfully as part of a team (in person and virtual)
  • Flexibility and adaptability - able to quickly and smoothly change direction based upon stakeholder or management direction, while remaining extremely organized and following tight deadlines
  • Collaborative team player who can use influence and indirect leadership to deliver results
  • Experience initiating and driving process improvement
  • Experience using AI tools to build efficiencies in work processes
  • Prior software development experience is a plus. CSM, CSPO, and AWS Practitioner certifications preferable
